My goal as a student athlete is first and foremost to further my intellectual growth in a collegiate? setting. In addition to furthering my academic endeavors, I continue to crave the evolvement? in my football techniques at a higher level than just high school. I have the potential to be a great addition to any college athletic program. I am a sound student in the realm of academics as well as athlectics. My ethical and moral training has guided me to develop my character in a positive ways. Theses traits have proven to aide me to be open to instruction both on and off the field. I am continue to develop my character through citizenship by being employed at the City of Houston as a Lifeguard. This position has given me the skill of being a leader by example and to have others follow in my foot steps. I anticipate the chance for a college to evaluate me and give me a chance to impress them both on the field and in the classroom. I have the size and the determination to achieve anything that is asked of me to do as well as the discipline to learn from and teach others how to improve themselves. I take great pride that my coaches have given me the opportunity to be a 3 year starter on our football team and will preform to the best of my ability whatever the task may be. No matter what obstacles are put in front of me, I can and will find a way to over come them and exceed at the task at hand.
One of my favorite quotes is as follows:
"Football is like life - It requires perseverance, hard work, sacrifice, dedication and respect for authority." Vince Lombardi
