My goal since I can remember is to play college football. I spent much of my childhood and adolescence emulating one of my heroes, Walter Payton, dreaming of one day assisting in leading my team to a state championship. My collegiate goal s and aspirations are to be a standout teammate and player, win some bowl games and awards.
I was fortune enough to be a part of an amazing football l program at Garland High School as a running back. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, hard work and sacrifice. The intangible skills I developed have allowed me to become a great running back. As a running back I possess certain qualities such as, speed, strength, agility, field vision, quick feet, and good stamina. I am an explosive player who always looks for holes in the defense and I am able to run routes and catch the ball downfield. I I have great blocking skills to protect the quarterback.
I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I value the educational aspect of a student-athlete experience as much as the great athletic experiences I hope to be a part of. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. Being chosen as Offensive Player of the Week, 2015 First-Team Running back in district 6A and a 3 year varsity starter in football as a running back/ linebacker, I know I have what it takes to be a leader on your team.
