Dear Coach
If you really knew me, you would know my biggest dream is to play Division 1 College Football. I am wise enough to know this is a very farfetched dream, and it happens to only the most elite athletes in the world, but it is still my goal. I also feel with hard work, and the right work ethics, I have a chance to achieve my dreams.
If you really knew me, you would know if I were to be given three wishes, I would wish for unlimited money, a cure for all diseases and more wishes. I would wish for unlimited money because in today's world, everything revolves around money. The more money you have, the easier it is for you in life and also the ability to help people who are suffering. I would wish for a cure for all diseases because of a couple reasons. Number one, I have Type 1 Diabetes and would love to get rid of it. Number two, three are a countless number of diseases that are as bad or worse than my own disease that I'm sure other people would love to get rid of too. Finally, my third wish would to play football in college so it could provide me with resources and channels so I may promote my first two wishes.
If you really knew me, you would know that someone who surprised me by how different they were than what I thought they were, was Coach Miller. Watching him coach and talking to him the first couple times I thought he was extremely strict and scary, but as I actually spent time with him and got coached by him, I realized he's actually a great person, mentor and friend.
If you really knew me, you would know that I am extremely proud of my brother, Hayden. He's not exactly the most social person and can be grumpy at times, but deep down he's the most kind, most heart-felt guy I know. He supports me in everything I do, and he's always there for me. Now that he is off to college, I don't get to see him every day, but he still sends texts to me daily (or calls) and always tries to get the scoop on what's happening in Georgetown.
If you really knew me, you would know that I never take anything for granted, and God, Family and Friends are what matters most. Most of all, having my disease has not made me lesser of an athlete, but has made me a stronger person and realizing everyday, and every moment is special.
