While growing and playing football in Gunter, Texas, I have found a love for this game, embracing both the highs and the lows. Beyond the “love for the game” I also treasure the relationships developed on and off the field. Being a good teammate is what I’m about whether I’m lifting others up or calming them down.
I take great pride in owning my position, carrying my load, and doing my job on and off the field. My temperament and nature leans toward cultivating trusting relationships with teammates, enabling me to positively impact those around me.
As a player I am coachable and patient, accepting constructive criticism to improve my skills and taking extreme pride in the work I put in. While the optimal dynamic is mutual respect between coaches and players and between teammates, my drive to be better each day allows me to push toward my best.
One mindset that differentiates me from others is maintaining humility, as I know there is always opportunity to improve. I soke up advice like a sponge striving to apply lessons and direction to future situations. There will always be someone bigger, better, and faster so I am consistently driving to reduce that margin daily.
On paper I may not be the greatest academic in my class; however, my analytical thinking separates me from most. I surgically dissect problems, logically breaking complex issues into manageable parts, sequentially working through challenges toward problem resolution.
Playing at collage level will be an honor and the experience will be invaluable in my life.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Braden Robison
