Jad Yakan '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jad Yakan and I started to play football in the SFL league in Houston. I was fortunate to have great coaches when I was playing in elementary for the SFL. They not only taught me the fundamentals, but great sportsmanship. It cultivated my love for football, I love every minute and aspect of football. I played for the Lanier Purple Pups in middle school. I am entering my freshman year at Lamar High School in Houston. I am looking forward to getting my pads on again and the start of a new season. My short term goal is to start on the on the Varsity team my sophomore year. I am very focused on my goal, and working hard. I want to continue learning about football from my coaches and trainers; train hard and after high school, I want to play football in college. I want to represent the college I attend as a strong leader, a respectable and honorable student athlete.  I am open to all schools, as long as they are the right match for me. My dream is to play in the NFL.
