Steven Faulkner '14 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing Texas tackle Football since I was 8 years old. I am a 4 year starter on Varsity. I was selected to the TAPPS Division II District IV All District team as a Sophomore 2011. I have played several positions for my team on offense and defense. My Head Coach David Nelson has complimented me on being the most determined Lineman he has ever coached, in that I never stop with my block until the whistle blows. Coach Nelson has stated to me that the offense could not have had the success we have achieved if not for my blocking effort each play in every game. I am a team player and have excellent academic achievements. I am taking all advanced classes and rank in the top 5% in my class. I look forward to being the best student and athelete I can be for my team as well as represent my school in the best manner possible. I am looking for a school with great academics and athletics.

Our 2012 State Championship finalist season was an amazing ride. Being able to play like that with the seniors and all my teammates has been one of the greatest honors of my life. I love all my teammates! The school tradition will go on because of this team. Victory Forever!

My 2012 Junior year personal highlights include TAPPS District 4/Houston-All District 1st Team selection. TAPPS D2/4A All State Selection and All State Academic Team Selection. I was also a Lone Star Sports Network All Greater Houston Team selection for all private schools and all divisions.

My 2013 Senior season is going to be a great year and our team is focused on improving our success from our 2012 State Finalist Season. I have been asked by our Head Coach, Coach Nelson to be the leader of our offensive line as well as our team this year.
