Benjamin McCann '16 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Benjamin McCann Jr. I am in the 11th grade at Summer Creek High School in Humble ISD. I am 185 pounds and 5'9". I have been the starting Running back/OLB since my 8th grade middle school year and High School for freshman, JV and currently Varsity. I played OLB as well. I had a great season as far as my performance. During my senior year for 2015-2016 I plan to help lead my team to the playoffs as I start at OLB with some time at running back with great determination. During my Junior varsity 2014, I averaged 120 yards per game rushing, and was named Scott team player of the year in practice.

During the off season from football, I am on the Track team.  I have ran track for the school since the 7th grade and also for Track Houston Team.  During my performance with Track Houston in running the 100 yard dash, my team and I broke a national record for this event.  During this track season for the final events, I brought home 2 gold metals for the relay races.   
I would like to visit the campus when you have availability. I am ready to take on the next level in my football career. Please give me an opportunity to prove it.
At the moment, I am not scheduled for any camps but will get an opportunity to attend a few this summer.

I also  to major in Sports Medicine, and  become a head football coach for a major organization  one day.
