Zach Berman '28 Recruiting Profile

I attend James E. Taylor HS class of 2028. I am a starter player in my school and a top- ranked national team in my State. I play AAU basketball, compete in shot put and discus throw, and I humbly hold a brown belt in youth Wing Chun martial arts.

I am a National Junior Honor Society inductee, and I am in AP/gifted and talented classes, with high honors. I am a Percussionist and a Pianist.

I believe learning and growth are not limited to the classroom or field, but also by exploring. I have traveled to 33 countries. My goal is to pursue a degree in Aviation or Aeronautics. 

I am passionate about animals and the environment. I have volunteered at the SPCA, rescued two dogs, and helped with conservation efforts to protect the Katy Texas Prairie. As a Scout, I earned the environmental science merit badge.

Aside from excellent leadership skills, I am tenacious, committed, coachable, intuitive, and a team player. I hope to continue my growth as an athlete in High School and beyond.
