My dream is to play college football. I am an all around athlete and also play basketball and baseball, but I most enjoy football because of the leadership opportunity it provides me as quarterback. I have three older brothers and have been pushing myself to play up to their level since my first day of backyard football. Being the youngest of four has helped to teach me to be mentally tough and to have confidence in my athleticism, because, until now, they were always bigger and stronger than me. I am competitive, driven, disciplined, work well under pressure and am able to make tough decisions. I workout everyday except the day before and of game day. My workouts include weight and agility training, running sprints, followed by throwing at targets every training day, five days a week. In addition to sports, I take care of my business at school by making good grades. I try to be a leader on and off the field by being respectful to others and working hard at whatever I do. My dad did not play organized sports, but he works hard and taught me and my brothers to work hard at whatever we do. I end each day by reading my bible before bed. I believe the word of God sharpens my mind and also keeps everything in perspective by helping me maintain balance when I win, endure losses, never give up, and to be a better man everyday, both on and off the field.
