Ernesto Ramirez '26 Recruiting Profile

I started playing football in 7th grade, and from the moment I stepped onto the field, I fell in love with the game. There's no better feeling than leaving everything going on in your life behind you and focusing on the game at hand. The d-end lined up across from me that I have to drive into the ground. In playing football, I've learned to fight through adversity, injuries, and that I can do anything I'm willing to work for. I plan on graduating high-school with honors and I want to study Forensic Sciences or Forensic Psychology in college. I would love to play at the next level, and I am willing to play any position that is needed of me for the better of the team. I've faced lots of adversity at OT due to my size. As an OT in Texas, I'm undersized and underweight at 6'2 265lb's, but I make up for it in the effort and work I put into being the best player on the field.
