Michael Hargis II '12 Recruiting Profile

To Whom It May Concern: I, Michael W. Hargis II would like to tell you a little about myself and why I feel that I am a good fit for your program. I am currently attending Manor high school, Manor is just outside the Austin city limits. Manor is in district 16 4A, I moved into the Manor school district during the Christmas break of this my junior year 2010 to 2011. I have transferred from L.B.J. high school in Austin Texas, district 26 4A. I also have more VIDEO 2011 SEASON IN MY PRESS RELEASE SECTION. I am now into my senior year of high school I am a member of the National Honor Society, I take AP classes with a 3.5 G.P.A. at this time I the area of sports that I have played, I am in my 4th Varsity letterman year in basketball I am also in my 3rd Varsity year of football I have started both seasons. In 2009-2010 season I made All district OLB and in this past 2010-2011 season my coach made defensive adjustments which called for me to move into the Safety position a great deal, I also made All district at Safety and I did get picked by the coaches as a team captain this past season . I feel that my future in football is at the outside linebacker position, with that being said my current HS coach has moved to left side DE to help the team I ve had most teams run away from me at OLB 90% of the time. It's good we have a very strong DE on the right so now it has brought balance to our team and we have made the playoffs's with the best district record in sometime for the school. I would like for you take a look at what I have to offer in the classroom and on the field of battle, as well I understand that sports play is 90% mental and 10% physical. I would like to go to the best school that will take me far in life. In my family Education is always 1st, because with knowledge,(The Sky is the Limit). But as of now I want to major in Criminal Justice or Psychology. Please take a look also at my classroom work to see that I can be a productive student athlete and positive face to your program and school. I have enclosed a current school transcript, and I will be taking the ACT again, in October 2011 even though I ve passed it already. I have also recieved my SAT scores without AP or NHS status weighted in and I just took it again in September 2011. I ve also attend the FBU camp in Austin, TX on 2/25-27/2011 and I ve been selected and will be attending the TOP GUN, LB camp in Williamsburg, V.A. I ve also been invited to the invite only Nike Training Camp, at University of Houston on May 7th of 2011, I did in fact make the Nike all camp time at OLB with my video attached and all it can be seen on my rivial page. My current  update is that I have been featured in the June release of the 2011 DAVE CAMPBELL TEXAS FOOTBALL MAGAZINE  I am listed as the #6 LINE BACKER in TEXAS  among the top #20 and in the Top 300 players in the state of Texas. I have also been contacted on 9/13/2011, that I ve been profiled in Tom Lemming top recurits football magazine for 2011. I hope to be able to live up to this great honor.  Thank you so much for your time.
