Julius Montano '15 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing soccer since i was 4 years old and still play.  I played for the Houston dynamo academy for a while. After that my dad asked me to play football as a kicker because i have a strong leg. I have never kicked a football once in my life while playing soccer . tryouts went great all the coaches liked me. i took the spot of the starting kicker from last year and he quite after that . the farthest i have kicked a field goal was a 40 yard. During practice I hit two 53 yard field goals back to back . my coach only wanted me to kick two i could have done more. This was my first year ever playing football and i was the starter for the varsity football team at Manvel high school. my first year play as a junior
