Jorge Lerma '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jorge Ramiro Lerma. I live in the southern tip of Texas in the small city of Brownsville. I am currently a senior at Brownsville Veterans Memorial High School and the starting Offensive Tackle, backup Center and backup Defensive Tackle. Our school ended this season with a 6-2 record in district, and went 2 rounds deep in the playoffs. This year awards given to me were, All District Honorable Mention, Second Team All-Metro and Second Team All-Valley. I was awarded outstanding lineman from both the offense and defense from Veterans Memorial High School. I have been given a couple of offers. I am currently 6’1 weighing 270lbs. My 40-yard dash is at 5.1 seconds my 400m dash is at 70 seconds and I have a vertical of 21 inches. My current max on bench is 315lbs, on Squat is 485lbs, 245lbs on cleans, and incline 275lbs. I am ranked 75 out of 392 students in my class, with a current GPA of 3.2. I plan to major in Criminal Justice. I am open to all colleges and universities In the United States, but prefer to stay in Texas or Southern states. I wish to play at the next level and work hard for a starting position.
