James Cox '25 Recruiting Profile

Like most boys I started playing football at a very young age, throwing and catching the ball with my parents and friends.  The game quickly became my favorite sport and is a huge part of my life.  As I grow up my parents and coaches really influence me in who I am today, as well as who I will become, by pushing me to do the best at what I love.  While I love all of the game, I am very focused on becoming a kicker.  I have learned that the game is not always about winning, it's about the value of teamwork, commitment to each other, and always working to improve as an individual so that I can help the team.  I really believe I can help teams win with my kicking ability.

My goals in high school are to be successful academically and athletically so that I can take my talent to the next level.  I want to find a college program that is a good fit for me, where I can help make a difference on the team, while getting a college education.  I think the unique characteristics I have are my hard work and dedication to go the extra mile.  I know I have what it takes, I just need the chance!
