I follow the Golden Rule - always doing to others as I’d have done to me; with a focus on being a great team player, a servant leader and a strong individual contributor. My efforts have not only built trust amongst my teammates and with my coaches, but delivered proven results on the playing fields.
I consider myself an academic first and an athlete second. My goal for university is to use the skills that I have learned in the classroom and on the field to propel myself as far as I can reach academically and athletically. My dream is to attend a premier academic institution where I can learn the skills and build relationships that will serve me well in my career as an engineer - AND play football.
One of the things I love most about football are the relationships you gain with coaches, teammates and trainers. I love being able to serve my school on the field and use my God given talents to serve the Lord above. Football is 99% practice and 1% performance and I believe that it’s the hard work off the field that pays off on the field. As an offensive lineman, my job isn’t to collect great stats and hear my name on the loud speaker, it’s to serve my team and protect my quarterback. I love my job and I do it to the best of my ability every day and in every play.
