2014 HighlightsMy name is a Daniel Cantu and I've grown up in a small town in Texas. Football has always been a major part of my life, especially when it is always the talk of the town. Ever since I was young I wanted to play on a college level, but did not know what position I could be. Kicking just came natural to me, considering I played soccer when I was younger. This year, I will also be holding down the position of starting QB on our varsity team. I have been training very hard to build up my muscle and grow stronger and stronger, which has helped my field goal and kickoff distance. I played other sports, such as basketball, but football has always been my passion. I'm a hard worker, and will always do whatever it takes to make myself a better teammate, athlete, and overall a better man. I am an experienced leader, involved in the community, and responsible over myself and my grades. I have always been very involved in my academics, and almost always an A or B+ student. My goal is to receive a scholarship, play football to the best of my abilities, and eventually earn my degree. I hope to get the opportunity to play, and would assure you that picking me up would not be a mistake.
