Derek Silva '24 Recruiting Profile

I would love to play at the next level, and at the highest level possible. I plan on pursuing business management and I am interested in commercial real estate sports management. However, I am also interested in sports management. I look forward to the day I can attend a great institution like my brother, who is a student at Notre Dame. I am one proud  little brother! 

I think what sets me apart from others is my ability to lead off the field, just as much as on. As the quarterback, I obviously have to be very vocal but I also have to be leader by example. It's important to set a positive example for those you are trying to lead. You must also remember who you are representing. We don't just represent ourselves...we represent our school, community and our family. I take a lot of pride in always trying to do the right things. I also enjoy helping others in need.
