Michael Leuty '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal is very simple, to be the best and to win championships. I have been playing quarterback since elementary school, and fully respect the extra responsibilities and challenges that come with the position. I have adapted and excelled in many different offensive systems, under some fantastic coaches playing 6 man, 7 man and 11 man football. At 6’ 4 1/2” I am tall enough to see over the defensive line and can make every throw on the field. I am very comfortable in a leadership role and my specialty is the deep ball, but I can also throw the 15 yard out with power and timing as well as the touch pass. I enjoy film study and especially look forward to “the game within the game” aspect of diagnosing and taking advantage of weaknesses within the defense.  My immediate goals are to add about 15 to 20 pounds of muscle weight during the upcoming offseason and continue to improve my scrambling ability and movement within the pocket.

At the present time, I am still researching all of the different teams and opportunities, and hope to reach a decision in early 2023. I welcome communication with any coaches who would like to add a very experienced quarterback who can stretch the field and has a relentless work-ethic to their roster next season.
