Corey Manges Jr '13 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was 7 years old and playing select league football I have had a dream to play in college.  December 2012 that dream very nearly came to a end.  I was robbed at gun point then shot 5 times and was seriously wounded.  I have been fighting to keep my dream alive and will continue to fight for my dreams.  I realize that a random act of violence can alter a life forever.  I have made a full recovery and have dedicated myself to living a better life.  I still dream of playing college or even pro football.  I believe in myself and the spirt/drive that this event has given me.  I understand what Team and being a real teammate truly means, I understand what family truly means, I understand what leading by example and leadership truly mean now.  My eyes are open and my mind and body are stronger than ever.

I did not sign with any school on February 6th, because of my injuries.  I have gotten cleared to work out and return to training.  My plan is to go to College in the Spring of 2014 that way giving me a full year to rehab.  Videos of my workouts will be uploaded to this site.
