Hello my name is Kegan Mitchell, I am a c/o 2026 OL from Cornerstone Christian School in the greater San Antonio area. I started playing football to hang out with my friends. Since I first stepped on the field, I have made it a goal to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a privilege, and if given a chance, I will make every second count.
I am always working to improve my skills as well as training to get bigger, faster, and stronger. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest-working players and one of the hardest-working recruits you’ll find.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. I engage with all of my teachers to ensure that I am the best student that I can be. To quote my English/Reading teacher " I enjoy teaching Kegan during 4th-period ELAR class. He is very responsible in class and asks me for a copy if any missing or extra work. I am happy that he talks to me because in the first few weeks of school this year he sort of grunted or mumbled answers. Ms. Kitchen and I reminded him of expectations. He pays careful attention now for which I’m proud of him. I did also notice that after I attended one of the 8th-grade boys' football games, he did talk to me and Ms. Kitchen more in class. He's an awesome football player!" Christie Pannkuk
8th grade ELAR Hill M.S.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
