My goal is to play college football while getting a quality education. I started playing football with my older brother's team as a 9 year old. My dad was my coach and that is where my love of football began. Both my dad and brother have had a positive impact on me growing up. Being the biggest kid in school had its challenges at times, but now I have embraced it and have learned just how beneficial that is for my position. I am grounded in my faith in god. I have a long list of community service and volunteer work and understand "giving-back" and "paying-it-forward" help build character and maintain perspective. My parents instilled this in me while I was very young. I hope to become a teacher or coach after attending college.
My Freshman year, I was a member of the Varsity swim team that won District and Regionals. While my body helped make the sports decision for me between swimming and football, one thing I gained during my years of swimming was a level of flexibility that is seldom seen in an OL. It is clear that keeping my body flexible has given me physical balance and quickness, allowed me to grow stronger very quickly and helped me to stay injury-free and healthy. I do have a burning desire to play major college football and feel I can be a positive influence, both on and off the field, to any program.
