I have been playing football since I was around eight years old. I loved the game then and I still do today. I am always looking for new opportunities to improve my skills and be the best player I can be.
Along with football, my grades are very important to me. I know that I am a student-athlete and my success in school will carry me further in life than my success on the field. I am in most honors and AP classes. I try to be one of the hardest workers both in the classroom and on the football field. I try to be a good leader on the team and in the classroom. I believe leading by example is the best way to lead and I am always striving to be a good example for those around me.
I am also in a service group called YMSL (Young Men's Service League) and we go around the city and do service for others. I have worked at the homeless shelter, food bank, schools and medical organizations. Serving others is important to me. Of particular importance to me is the organization AugustHeart. AugustHeart saved my life and I feel like giving back to this organization is the least I can do.
Something that I live by is "Walk the Walk." Walking the Walk to me means that I will always do what I say and go above and beyond. Talk is cheap. Also, having great integrity is important to me. In any situation, having integrity is always going to benefit me. Integrity is what strengthens relationships and creates trustworthy bonds. That is why I will always walk the walk.
