My name is Tristan Robin. I have two brothers, Cash who is in 9th grade, and Briggs who is in 5th grade. My family means a lot to me. Being in a family of three boys makes us constantly competitive, which has made me the football player and athlete I am today. My parents, Brett and Jenny, have insisted that we play multiple sports seasonally throughout my childhood. Since I was three years old I’ve participated in soccer, baseball, tennis, snow skiing, and wakeboarding, which have all helped me build a foundation for football. My dad, who played tailback for The University of Texas on Scholarship(1999-2003) , held me back from organized football until 7th grade because he believed being involved in multiple sports would develop a well-rounded player. He also had the foresight to know that once I started organized football it would be my passion taking me away from other sports. So instead of organized football he spent hours in the front yard throwing us routes while teaching us the fundamentals of football.
Football is my get away from school and life. If I've had a long day or a bad day the day before I can always know that I have football practice to get my mind away from everything else in life like the classroom where I spend a lot of time and athletics are my break and escape. My passion for the field is just as large and competitive as it is in the classroom, knowing that football ends one day and to have an idea and plan for the future.
I have always played multiple sports growing up from tennis to baseball and soccer. At Lake Belton High School I compete in soccer( 2nd Team All-District) and Baseball(All District Honorable Mention). I love to ski which is one of my favorite things to do and fly fish and bow hunt which my family and I all do together.
