Alvin Skipworth '20 Recruiting Profile

I moved to Texas from Alaska in summer of 2015.  I fell in love with football after moving here.  I have learned much from my coaches in the 2 years I have played.  I look forward to being a leader and hopefully CAPTAIN this coming season for my Junior year.  

I am a 5'9" 185 lb  ATH.  My primary positions are INSIDE RECEIVER and RB.  On defense I will play Safety or as a LB matched up against the opponents best athlete or fastest player.  I enjoy that opportunity to shut them down and help my teammates succeed.

My first year as a varsity starter was my sophomore year.  I was named District Newcomer of the Year.  I was also named 2nd team all conference RB.  I am fast with pads & without.  I was part of our state placing relay teams (4x100, 4x200, 4x400) the past 2 seasons.  My teammates and I medaled in all events and took the Gold in the 4x200 in May 2018 for TAPPS 5A.

I am hoping to attend a school where I can have an immediate impact on the football team.   I am also open to attending a school where I will need to develop my body, my skills, support my teammates, and wait for my opportunity to shine.   I would like to major in business, accounting, architecture, or medicine.  I would love to attend school in Texas or surrounding states, but am open to other options if I can fit into a program elsewhere.
