Personal Statement

I have played baseball and football since the age of 4.  I played travel baseball at the Premier level and also played my freshman year of high school on the Junior Varsity Team.   My positions are 1st base, centerfield, and left field.

I have played football for 14 years.  I played on the Junior Varsity team my freshman year and was starting middle linebacker. I have been on Varsity my Sophomore, Junior, and now Senior year and have been the starting middle linebacker all 3 years.  I also am the Varsity long snapper as well as team captain.  I was named 1st Team All-District Middle Linebacker in 2022 and 2023.  Dave Campbell's Texas Football has named me "Player to Watch" in the 2022 and the 2023 seasons.  This season, I lead my team in tackles and assists and was one of the leaders in total tackles and assists in the entire district. I have recently been nominated for the Willie Ray Smith Award for defensive player.

I have run track since 7th grade.  I run the 100m, 4x1 relay, 200m, 4x2 relay, and I also throw the shot put.  Also, my Junior year, I played the last 3 games of the soccer season.

I feel I am a natural leader and truly believe in John Maxwell's quote, "Dreams don't work unless you do."

Outside of school and sports, I hunt!  My parents have 1200 acres in central Texas where we hunt and also run a guide service for whitetail, exotics, ducks, and hog hunts throughout the year.  My plan after high school graduation is to attend college where I will continue to play football and major in Wildlife Management.

By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
