Emilio Rodriguez '26 Recruiting Profile

I am Emilio E. Rodriguez. I am a double sport athlete. I play defensive end in football and shooting guard in basketball. As a freshman, I was a starter for my school basketball "A" team. In football this past year, I have continued to improve getting 5 sacks and 10 tackles in district games.

From a very early age, I have enjoyed sports including baseball, basketball, swimming, soccer, and football. I've trained a lot in basketball since 3rd grade and I have played in numerous AAU teams throughout. Coincidentally, since 8th grade I've found success playing football as well. 

I am interested in studying mechanical engineering in college as I love cars and machines. I've been taking Advanced Placement classes in math and science since Jr. High and find STEM classes come easily to me. I work very hard in school, as I want to make sure I am among the top tier of my class.

I am a dedicated and hardworking student-athlete and I am committed to improving my skills so I can play at the collegiate level.
