Owen Burton '27 Recruiting Profile

Coaches, 

My name is Owen Burton and sports are my passion, but football is my love! I will do whatever it takes to stay in the game, my goal of course is to play in college and then professionally, but if I am not one of those lucky few then either way, I want to build my career around sport by majoring in photography and journalism or sports medicine. 

I am a dawg, I leave it all out on the field, to me there is nothing like sacking the quarterback or running someone over.  I put in the work on and off the field to make sure I give it my all for my team; when I make a mistake, it makes me feel like I am letting my whole team down, I do my best to correct it on the next play. 

What separates me from everyone else on the team is how coachable I am. I listen to my coaches and do what they ask of me, I also like to learn from my teammates and the varsity players, I do not consider myself a know-it all, I leave my ego for the other team.
