2011 HIghlights
2010 SeasonI am a 5 foot 11, 180 pound wing back/defensive back at Kentlake high school which is located in Kent, WA. I ran a 4.5 40-yard dash as of last summer and am working to improve that. I lettered my freshman year, started on varsity my sophomore year, and was a captain this year while starting both ways. I know what it’s like to play fast paced football at the 4A level. I also enjoy politics as well as writing essays. In fact, I placed first in the National History Day district competition for an essay I wrote on the atomic bomb.
My role on a team is usually the leader. However, I am not the vocal, boisterous type that one might picture when they hear the word “leader” (though I can be if necessary.) Instead, I am the silent leader who leads by example. I have been captain of many teams and have had plenty of practice, motivating and organizing my fellow players. Along with leadership; perseverance, hard work, and passion are all attributes that I practice regularly both on and off the field.
Right now, I would prefer a school close to home but certainly am not ruling out any opportunity for an education and the chance to play college ball. Education is my primary concern however, and I would like to go to a school that has good political science program, as this is the subject in which I would like to major.
