My name is Ben Wilson and I began playing football and baseball when I was seven years old. I come from a sports loving family that sparked my love of competition and team play. I have been a Varsity starter for the past 3 years. During the 2016 season, I earned All-American Honors-MaxPreps, All-State (TNT, Seattle Times and USA Today), TNT All Area Team and SPSL 4A Defensive Player of The Year at inside linebacker for Sumner High School. Furthermore, I led the state with 201 tackles during this same season. Completing a college degree while playing a game I love would be a life changing opportunity.
In addition to playing football at Sumner High School, I have also been a member of the Varsity baseball team for the past two years. I also play baseball for the Bulldogs 18u Premier Team through Diamond Sports Training Facility.
As team captain, I pride myself for being a team player and leader with a strong desire to do whatever it takes to win. Currently, I maintain a 3.40 GPA taking Honors level classes and plan to graduate with a partial IB diploma. My lifelong goal is to find the right college match where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field.
