I am a student-athlete, not athlete-student. I challenge myself in the classroom as well as on the field, and compete in everything I do. I am in an honors math class, and am in a biomedical class, a step further than the normal sophomore science class, Biology. I am maintaining a 3.3 GPA as well as keeping up with my athletic life. Next year, I am planning on taking 4-5 AP classes, including AP Pre-Calc, AP Spanish 350 (UW Class), AP Language, AP Psychology, and choosing alternates of AP Physics and Advanced Sports Medicine. A class that I was really interested in this year was Sports Medicine, which I see myself pursuing as a major in college.
I am a two sport athlete, playing football and baseball. I do nothing but succeed in both, lettering in both sports, and starting on the football team. I have a passion for both football and baseball, practically making training for each sport a religion of mine. I play Strong Safety, in a 4-4 scheme forcing the strong safety to be one of the best athletes on the field; Defending in the run and pass game. I play the game for many reasons; including becoming a better man, bonding through the game, to flat out compete, and because when I play football, nothing else matters to me. I strive to be the best on and off the field, and I am the only one accountable for that. Being an athlete has thoroughly changed my life.
Lastly, I have great relationships with my family and friends. I consider my little sister as one of my best friends, and everyone else in my home is prioritized. I have good relationships with my coaches as well. In recruiting me, you will find an exceptional student, athlete, and man.
