Adam Kinyon '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'2" , 285 lb. offensive and defensive lineman from Lomira, Wisconsin, graduating in 2017. I was also long snapper this season playing each entire game both ways and coming out for kickoffs only. This year I served as Captain, earned 1st Team All-Conference honors and was named to the All-Area Team and Academic All-State Team. I am willing to play any position that would be a good fit for your program.

Last season, my junior year, I played left tackle and defensive tackle. I earned 1^st Team All-Conference honors for left tackle and 2^nd Team All-Conference honors for defensive tackle. I also was named to the Fond du Lac Action-Reporter Media All-Area Team as a left tackle. That team includes players from all Divisions, and my team from Lomira is in Division 5. My teammates voted me as the team’s Lineman of the Year. The previous season, as a sophomore, I was to be the center until I broke my right wrist in the pre-season scrimmage. I was moved to right guard and proceeded to play the entire season with a cast or splint. 

In addition to football, I am an avid wrestler, seconds away from making it to State last season and earning 2nd Team All-Conference honors. I also play baseball. To train for football and wrestling, I am passionate about being in the weight room at least 4 days a week, and more when it is offered, at 6 a.m. I currently hold the school record for squat at 530 lb and hex-bar deadlift at 500 lb. 

I have always set high goals and expectations for myself, both athletically and in the classroom. In everything I do, I lead by example. I was blessed to be able to skip 2nd grade, not only based on academic strength, but also on physical size, maturity and social aspects. Throughout my years of schooling, I still have remained at the top of my class regarding all four of those criteria. 

My current GPA is 3.98/4.0 possible, and I am ranked 2nd in my class of 103. I am currently planning on attending college for a Mechanical Engineering degree and am hoping to attend a school with an exceptional program for this major. I am confident that I will be able to excel in both my classwork and football endeavors at the college level.
