Hunter Decker '15 Recruiting Profile

My work ethic is to go above what is asked of me. I play hard work hard and carry myself with respect both on and off the field. Sports have been a large part of who I am and the man I have become. I am a motivator and team captain, I finished a game this past season playing both ways for four and a half minutes with four cracked ribs, both carrying the ball on offense, and shutting down anything over the top from my safety position, the final drive on defense was the longest of my football life. Every time there was a timeout, I was spitting blood on the sidelines, but refused to come out because my teammates needed a rally point, a leader, and my friends in the stands chanting thank you seniors! We ended up winning the game and I received the game ball, and now fully understand the whole blood, sweat and tears motto.
