Personal Statement

My name is Jordan Orme. I am a class 2015 Kicker from Northwestern High School in Maple, Wisconsin.  I currently have a 4.0 GPA and continue to work hard as I head into my Senior year. I am going to take two AP classes next year and improve on my ACT score of 28. As a Senior, I was selected for All-State Honrable Mention, 1st-Team All-Region, Superior Telegram All-Area and 1st-Team All Conference. I have trained with Kohl’s Kicking extensively to hone my skills. I have competed in numerous showcases, which Kohl's hosted, from which I have been nationally ranked. Currently, I am a 4.5 star kicker and ranked 99th in the country among the class of 2015.

My aspirations include earning a degree to jumpstart my career and playing football at a competitive level. I hope to build life-lasting relationships with my teammates and coaches. I really value a supportive and motivating environment so I can become the best I can be in both academics and athletics. I am an extremely hard worker on the field as well as in the classroom. I can be counted on under pressure, as I have made a game winning field goal my Sophomore year. I have the leg to send the ball into the endzone on kickoffs which will help the team greatly with field position. I have a great attitude and like to encourage my teammates in everything they do. I believe I can make a difference on and off the field.  Although athletics are very important to me, academics will play a large role in helping me to select a college.  I envision the college I choose holding very high standards in their education and degrees. I hope kicking can be a tool to help me get to that place.
