Personal Statement

My collegiate goals are to provide outstanding grades for my school, to be a scholar athlete, and to be a role model for my peers and kids. My aspirations are to play at the division 1 level, to play in the SEC or ACC, to make a name of myself, and to be remembered as one of the greats whoever played the position. What makes me a good candidate for your team is that I am a well balanced person, I can perform at a high level, I keep my teammates spirits lifted, I am opened to new coaching strategies, and I am always up for new challenges. My character is interesting because I am not a typical African American male. I try my best not to be ignorant, cruel, or conflict attracting. I love to hangout with my teammates and have a real connection with my coaches. I have been told for a freshman I am an amazing athlete and unpredictable for for the future. My athletic director and coaches tell me that i am one if those rare guys that make it to highest level of football (NFL). People always tell me that I am going to be one of the biggest names in football in a couple of years. Academically I am always progressing and always on track, I am ready to learn new things and also ready to bring a good name for scholar athletes who go to your school.

I have been playing football since i was 6 but I've been playing on a actual team since i was 9. My first year playing football i was nervous and not intrigued by the sport, but the more i played football the more i started to realize this is what i am meant for. My second year playing football i was starting to know what position i belong at, which is running back. Over the years that i have been playing football i learned how to respect and progress in  the sport.  What i mean by that i have been progressing in the sport is that my IQ on football. For example i have been told that my reads on offenses and defenses are outstanding. I know how to read holes well, i can make quick cuts, i don't go down from guy, i follow my blockers, and I'm a patient runner. I am a balanced running back, my speed is great and my strength is unmanageable. If your offense is based on power running, running between tackles, quick cuts, I'm your guy.
