Jacob Erbs '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jacob Erbs, and I am 17 years old. I am 5’9” and weigh 205 pounds. I live in Reedsburg, WI and attend Reedsburg Area High School. I play middle linebacker, and through my sophomore and junior seasons on varsity I have over 270 total tackles, 4 interceptions, 6 forced fumbles, and a number of recovered fumbles. My sophomore year on varsity I started all 11 games and was voted First Team All-Conference (Unanimous), and our team also won conference. My junior year I was voted First Team All-Conference (Unanimous), First Team All-Region, and Honorable Mention All-State. I was also named the Badger North Defensive Player of the Year, Defensive MVP of the team, and team captain as a junior. I’ve made it to this point through a lot of hard work and dedication year around whether it’s lifting or working on speed and agility before and after school. I’ve always wanted to play college football since I was a little kid, and now I’m getting the opportunity to chase that dream. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to play at the next level and my work ethic shows that. I am also involved in school activities as well, such as Key Club and Student Council. I know I would be a strong asset to anyones team because of my hard work and dedication I put into football and my academics.
