Hunter Swan '17 Recruiting Profile

I’m a 6’1” linebacker and running back from Ogema Wisconsin. I was starting linebacker for the Rib Lake Prentice Hawks by the end of my freshmen year, and by my sophomore year I was starting on both sides of the ball. I received honorable mention last year and this year for linebacker, and run a 52.04 sec. 400m and throw nearly 45 feet in the shot put. I am currently an NHS member and maintain a 3.9 G.P.A.

Throughout my high school career I have been placed in leadership positions. During my sophomore year I was chosen to be a track captain as well as this year. My junior year (this year) I was also chosen to be a captain of our football team. In the summer of 2015, myself, my coach, and another student from Rib Lake were chosen to attend a Leadership training conference in Lake Placid, New York that was given by John Underwood and Navy Seals. With what we learned, we are attempting to change the culture of our school (alcohol abuse, negative attitude) through a group called Culture of Champions. I feel that I would be a great fit for a D1 or a D2 school that wants to work hard to improve their team as I would love to work hard with them. Also I would like to be in a school that values its science and pre med programs, as I am thinking of going on to chiropractic school. I would also consider D3 schools that take both their athletics and their academics very seriously.
