I am a self-motivated student-athlete. I am entering my junior year at Slinger High School in Slinger, WI. Through my first two years of high school I have been able to maintain a 3.82 grade point average while participating in football, basketball and golf. My drive and determination that pushes me in the classroom, also pushes me on the field. Football, by far, is my favorite sport, however I also enjoy basketball and golf. I currently play defensive end and offensive tackle and also long snap. I am 6'5" and weigh 250 lbs. Through hard work in the weight room and agility training, I have greatly increased my strength and performance. I have been involved in organized football since I was in 5th grade. I have been a starter on both offense and defense since I played my first game. I am a team player. When I'm on the field, I believe that the other ten players are my family. There isn't anything I wouldn't do for them. I also have developed a very strong bond with my teammates. My dream has always been to play college football. Right now, I am interested in studying Engineering of some sort.
On the gridiron, I give it my all. I have been fortunate to be able to attend football camp at UW-Madison for the past two years as well as UW-Whitewater for the past three years. These camps have taught me a great deal about my positions and have improved my abilities. The camps have also taught me that if I want to play at the next level that I need to work hard. Since I have begun my high school career I have started every game, and last year I was voted Defensive MVP, by my teammates. I accomplishd this with my many tackles, a few sacks and by batting down many passes.
I also volunteered in helping coach last year's 8th grade football team and will be coaching a youth flag football team this year. These volunteer opportunities have helped give back to the football program that I love so much.
