Grant Roth '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a middle linebacker for SPASH (Stevens Point Area Senior High) in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. I stand 6 feet 1 inches tall and weigh 215 pounds. This past year was my second year as a starter on the SPASH defense and my first year receiving all-conference recognition. I see myself as a driven student athlete who is committed to succeed on the field and in the classroom. There is a certain quote that I believe describes me well that says, "Pain is temporary but pride is forever." To me it explains that it's hard to reach your goals but in the end you will be proud of the results.  I also see myself as an extremely competitive person. In any type of competition I try to be the best every time especially on the football field. I'm willing to do anything it takes to get myself better as a player and a person. I look forward to the future and playing for a college that is right for me and I can't wait to see where this journey takes me!
