Thank you for taking the time to review my profile. I believe you will see me as an honest, hard working, full of integrity person on and off the field.
Football is my passion. Every weekday morning I am out the door while many students are still asleep. I like to work out in our high school weight room in the early hours. It gets my head and body focused for the day.
I take school seriously. I enjoy friendships and relationships with my educators. My coaches are very supportive to my goals now and what I want in the future.
I am a leader in school and in my sports. I play varsity football. I am an offensive tackle starter. I also play varsity Lacrosse, face off/middie. I play club basketball, just for fun, to stay in shape during the off season. I have had the uncommon privilege to be on varsity for both teams as a sophomore. I was moved up at the end of my freshman football season to practice and sideline with our varsity team at State.
I have received several awards. In Lacrosse last season I earned the Most Improved Underclassman Award. In football last season I earned the Coach Quinn Award; Most Improved Underclassman and was also awarded Honorable Mention.
I am an active member of FSA. (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). About 30 of us get together weekly to discuss christian youth values and how we can apply them in our sporting programs. It's neat to fellowship with student athletes from different sporting backgrounds.
I am also on a Football Leadership Council. This committee learns about how to be an effective leader on and off the field.
I am very fortunate to be surrounded by a great community who is very supportive of our schools and sporting events.
I am looking forward to the next few years and will continue to work hard toward my goal of playing college football.
