My name is Jeff Shoopman, and kicking is my passion. At the collegiate level, I will strive to become the most reliable and consistent kicker I can be. My goal has always been to be "calm, cool, and collected" whenever I am on the field and to execute my job flawlessly. Since I have started training with Kohl's Kicking in 2015, my mechanics and ball-striking ability have improved dramatically. Recently, I attended the Midwest Winter National Showcase and received a 4.5 star recruit rating and was ranked 87th overall for the class of 2017.
However, achieving a high academic record is my top priority. I take pride in my school work, and do everything to my absolute best. With a 3.64 GPA and 28 ACT (retaking for a 30), I will be a great addition to your university. I have always aspired to achieve a collegiate degree in the business field, and will not waste this valuable opportunity.
Lastly, my character is invaluable to me. Through the National Junior Honor Society and my youth group, I have learned that true leadership is brought through the act of serving others. I aspire to always represent my friends, family and school in a positive manner through my words and actions.
