Justin Castaneda '27 Recruiting Profile

Greeting Coaches,     

My name is Justin Castaneda and I have been playing football since I was 8 years old and in the 3rd grade. I was born with Amniotic Band Syndrome, in my situation my left arm is only about 2/3 of my right. With this limb difference, I've always been underestimated by coaches and other players, and I've had to prove myself time and time again. This has brought out the best in me as a son, student, and athlete. Ultimately, my goal is to be able to compete at a high level in high school and college, and if I'm blessed enough, even into the NFL.  

I want to use my limb difference to encourage young athletes to pursue their goals and compete in any sport they love, regardless of any challenges or differences. We all need someone to look up to, I hope to be that positive role model for future athletes! Thank you for considering me and I look forward to what life has waiting for me!
