Landon Solaas '25 Recruiting Profile

Sports unify, excite, frustrate, and Inspire like nothing else. As a three sport Athlete I have learned a lot about myself through football, Wrestling, and Soccer. Each has taught me many lessons not only on the field or the mat but life lessons that go along with each sport. Since moving to Wyoming from Colorado four years ago has taught me to truly find who I am and what I wanted to become. Starting Mountain View Football my freshman year I became apart of a brotherhood on and off the field we all are taught we all have to work together as a team to work towards our season goal. To push each other to to our best performances, to be respectful on the field as well as in the classroom, and in our community cause We Are MV! I am coachable, and I adapt easily to any task. Whether a line position in middle school- sophomore year and recovering from a broken leg, to becoming the team's Kicker/ Punter with no experience other then the power to kick a ball. I attended kicking camps over that summer to get the knowledge I needed. At The Kicking World Camp/Competition I won   The Golden Boot Award (furthest field goal @ 55 yards) My Junior year (2023) I became a top Kicker & Punter in the state on top of receiving MV Defensive lineman player of the year. I have benefited from offense, defense and special teams, which has made me appreciate being apart of this football family. I am a strong physical defensive player, I have mental toughness, I strive to be one of the hardest working players, team leader, Coachable, and lead by example. I am most thankful for my coaches, teammates, teachers, and family that have pushed me to grow as an athlete and a person. 

In the Classroom, I have learned many lessons about the importance of doing well in school. I am pushing myself to study hard to maintain a higher GPA. I have worked hard to achieve the balance between my academics and extra curricular activities in order to be successful in both.

I want to attend College where I can push myself in the classroom and on the field. I plan to Graduate from college and earn a degree and have experience for my future. I want to be a great role to all my peers in my community and to make my family proud.
