Hello there, my name is Daniel Hutchins. I am a 5 foot 8 inch 185lbs student athlete at Wheatland High School in Wyoming and I will be graduating the year of 2019. I have been playing tackle football since I was in third grade and one year prier I had played two seasons of flag football (One season in the spring and one in the fall). I have played the middle linebacker position since my flag football year in second grade and now I am a sophomore in high school. I have started on the field since my fourth grade year.
I have done many other sports like wrestling, track and basketball. I have done wrestling since third grade, I took fourth at regionals last year for my freshman year. I have done track for two years and did basketball for two years. I have done Boy Scouts from first grade to eighth grade, I have learned how to become a great leader with this program and through wrestling.
I have been working out in the weight room since third grade and have been making progress in that as well. I have started a mass building workout program through my wrestling coach this summer. My coaches have made the personal goal for me to get my weight up to 195lbs by the start of my sophomore season. I have been progressively gaining weight to reach this goal. This summer I also plan on working on my speed and footwork.
I have maintained a high GPA this past year in the 3.4 range. I plan on increasing this number as the years go on. I will be doing much ACT prep this summer and through the school year as well with the Princeton Review program that has been brought to me by NCSA. I will be working even harder in the classroom in these next couple years because education comes first when it comes to going to collage.
