When my neighbor introduced me to lacrosse my fifth grade year, I was hooked. He has since moved on from lacrosse and now his shooting net resides on my front lawn, beaten and battered from the barrage of shots it’s taken from over the years. Although I grew as an athlete and as a person in football and wrestling, from lacrosse I have learned that lead well. I had to train and fight my way up the defense because my coach moved me from attack to defense. This position has been a successful one for me as I communicate well while I'm on the field, support my teammates and possess good stick skills. Most importantly I'm not afraid to lay the boom. Taking the reins of the defense, I both push and support my fellow teammates to do their best. My goal is to focus advance my current and future teams through learning all I can from my coaches and peers. Although I don't yet have my career in mind, I know what I want to find a college where I can, not only flourish, but also enrich the lives of those I encounter.
Thank You for your time,
