I am a hard working and dedicated student-athlete with aspirations to become a collegiate student-athlete. Lacrosse is my passion and preferred sport to participate in. I have pushed myself for many years to become the player I am today. I have been playing and training for the past 11 years!! The past four years I have stepped up my training to improve not only my skill level but my speed and endurance. As a midfielder I understand the importance of IQ and understanding the pace of the game. I try to never be a selfish player. I take as much pride in an assist as I do the goal. I am immensely proud of the fact that I was able to make the All-American National team representing team Long Island for the last two years. I also made the Elite 80 Squad. I was also recruited to play for Long Island Lutheran High School in my Freshman year.
From a Lacrosse standpoint I had a really good Junior year. I was a starting midfielder for my Varsity team. I played in every game. We had a 8-0 season this year. I was in the top three players for points this year. my high light reel has been attached. I was selected to be part of the All Conference team for my division. I am also proud of my academic accomplishments last year. The main reason I accepted the scholarship to Long Island Lutheran was because of the educational opportunities. It was a tough decision to leave my friends, but I could not pass up the opportunity to further my education. I am proud to say I made honor roll each quarter . I was also elected to the National Honor Society. I am very proud of that!
I am looking for an institution where I can find the right balance between the classroom and field. I would like to pursue a university with an outstanding academic reputation in the field of accounting/finance. Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I will work hard to earn that playing time.
