Luke Vando '19 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate academic goal is to pursue a major in business administration. My collegiate athletic goals are to earn playing time and seasonal accolades for the team. Post college, I am considering a career in sports management.

As a student athlete I possess the skills necessary to be an asset to any team. I am considered a very fast midfielder. I run a 4.7 40-yard dash. I have a keen ability to spot the open man while maintaining my eye on the goal. As a dominant right handed player with a strong, developing left hand I have tremendous versatility. I play aggressively and intelligently. I have a strong lacrosse IQ.

For my high school team, Pennsbury High School I have played Midfield and Attack as a Varsity Player my freshman, sophomore and junior years. This past summer I was awarded MVP at Apex Combine in Rider University. As a sophomore, I received the "Varsity Player of the Year" Award. For my summer travel team, Twist I concentrate on my Midfield game. This season we won the "MVP University of Delaware" Tournament.

I’ve also been selected to the Liberty National Showcase All Star team for 2018 and was awarded Most Valuable Player for 2019 midfielders at the APEX 60 Showcase in 2018.  My hustle and heart will help me achieve my goal of playing at the college level.
