Personal Statement

My name is Austin Sharp. I am 6'1" and weigh 185. I am currently a junior at Cornerstone Christian School in Decatur, Alabama. I am a member of the varsity basketball team where I play shooting guard and sometimes small forward. I have a GPA of 3.9, am an honor roll student and a member of the American Christian Honor Society.

My goal for the future is to earn an academic and/or athletic scholarship in basketball in order to pursue a degree in Business Management, specializing in Sports Management. After college I would like to pursue my dream of playing in the NBA.

I have played Basketball since I was in third grade. I practice my basketball skills everyday in my backyard or at the gym. I attend several basketball camps in the summer and continuously work on improving my shooting and rebounding skills. I am 100% committed to basketball.
