My name is Will Robertson and I have had a love for the game of basketball since I was 6 years old. I began playing at Rogers High School’s youth league basketball program, moving on to the Tennessee Valley Basketball Association league in second grade, playing on a third-grade team. I played in this league until I made the Junior High Basketball team. I began playing on the Alabama Generals, an AAU team in the ninth grade as well as continuing to play for my school team. I began playing on Rogers High School’s Varsity basketball team in the tenth grade and will play on the varsity team again for my Junior year. I started working with a basketball trainer during my eighth-grade basketball season and work with him every weekend year-round with the exception of tournament weekends as well as doing workouts year-round in the weight room.
Academically, I am ranked eleventh of eighty-six students and have maintained a 3.96 grade point average, while taking Honors Math and English classes. During the upcoming school year, I plan to take Dual Credit Biology, English, and History. I am a member of the National Honor Society and BETA clubs, which are academic organizations, as well as the Spanish Club.
My ultimate goal is to attend college on an athletic and/or academic scholarship so that I can play basketball at the collegiate level while earning a college degree possibly in Business or Computer Applications. I am receptive to considering a variety of colleges and hope to find the right fit for me to be successful both athletically and academically.
