My name is Will Robertson and I have had a love for the game of basketball since I was 6 years old. I began playing at Rogers High School’s youth league basketball program, moving on to the Tennessee Valley Basketball Association league in second grade, playing on a third-grade team. I played in this league until I made the Junior High Basketball team. I began playing on the Alabama Generals, an AAU team, in the ninth grade as well as continuing to play for my school team. I've played on Rogers High School’s Varsity basketball team since my sophomore year. I started working with a basketball trainer during my eighth-grade basketball season and work with him every weekend year-round with the exception of tournament weekends as well as doing workouts year-round in the weight room.
Academically, I am ranked 9th out of eighty-nine students and have maintained a 3.96 grade point average, while taking Honors Math and English classes. During the upcoming school year, I plan to take Dual Credit Biology, English, and History. I am a member of the National Honor Society and BETA clubs, which are academic organizations, as well as the Spanish Club.
My ultimate goal is to attend college on an athletic and/or academic scholarship so that I can play basketball at the collegiate level while earning a college degree possibly in Business or Computer Applications. I am receptive to considering a variety of colleges and hope to find the right fit for me to be successful both athletically and academically.
