Dear Coach,
Thank you for taking interest in me. I am a Senior student at St Luke's Episcopal School in Mobile, Alabama. I wouldn't trade my High School experiences for anything, But I am excited and ready to take on the challenges of being both a college student and player. The most remarkable thing about my game comes from my coaches and my parents. Over the years, so many good people have seen the promise in me and have made their individual contributions to my success as a person and a player. One of my greatest strengths is listening and the ability to be coached. I have been fortunate to be a part of winning programs through my time in Middle School, AAU and High School. I understand that each player must play his role to the best of his ability and that trusting my coach and my teammates is the key to success.
I am a combo-guard with both the ability to see the court, the movement of developing plays and can score at the rim or the perimeter. I can get streaky and score in bunches, but I am first a distributor. I enjoy seeing my teammates get the easy baskets. My coaches would say that I am effective in controlling the temp of the game. My scoring numbers are not huge, but my impact to a game can be significant. I am a decent on-ball defender and can rebound well at guard. I play with the Alabama Challenge program and the Mobile Legacy when my school season ends. I was a member of the 2013 State championship Golf team at St Luke's. I gave up Golf in my junior year in order to give my full attention to basketball.
My promise is to become an excellent teammate. I will work hard for the success of the team. My individual progress will come as I adhere to the program of my team. I am dependable in the classroom and have never faced any academic restriction. At this moment, Accounting is my interest. Math is a strength of mine academically.
