Hunter Czech '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hunter. I am a 5'10 point guard from the class of 2026. I live in southern Alberta Canada. My goal is to play at the highest level possible. I work hard academically and plan to achieve high marks throughout high school. I would like to attend a school that gives me many opportunities academically, and athletically. On the court, I thrive when the ball is in my hands, but I am just affective without the ball being able to run for days around screens and let the shot fly! I am not just a scorer but I am also a good facilitator. I have a wide range of offensive skills. I can be explosive on the drive, handle the ball in traffic, and hit the deep three.  I have really improved on my defense and can now guard very tight on defence and poke that ball away. 

I work very hard on my game regularly. I usually play about 3-5 hours a day. I work on all aspects of my game and enjoy playing against other talented basketball players to give me maximum improvement. I have also started to work out regularly for about 1.5 hours a day. This includes things like strength training and plyometrics. Every year I have seen tremendous improvement. Even from my freshman season, I have gotten so much better. 

I am very dedicated and am motivated by my big goals. I am coachable and will always listen to what the coach has to say, however, I am also willing to share my input if my coach wants to hear it. I get along with all my teachers and coaches and have a very positive attitude. I try to uplift my teammates as best I can and help unlock their potential.
